Grow Your Own Catnip Plant is the perfect way to to grow a pretty cat friendly plant at home. Give your cat catnip as nature intended direct from the plant. Great for both indoor and outdoor growing the Grow Your Own Catnip Plant has everything you need to plant and grow your plant. We only use organic certified seed and real soil (Soil Association approved) as a growing medium. Best watered using a spray trigger bottle which you can find here. Our catnip plant seed is Nepeta Cataria and has small delicate flowers that are irresistible to cats inducing a natural euphoric state in your cat. The flowers and stalks can also be dried out and crushed as they die off naturally which can be sprinkled on cat toys and scratching posts.Details

Growing Instructions:
- Open Tub by removing lid being careful not to spill the soil
- Remove 1/2" of the soil and place on lid
- Moisten remaining soil in the tub with a good spray of water using a spray trigger watering bottle - 15 to 20 sprays should be fine
- Open seed packet and sprinkle seeds over soil in tub
- Cover the seeds with soil you removed in step 2
- Moisten the top soil with a good spray of water using a spray trigger watering bottle - 15 to 20 sprays should be fine
- Cover (do not close) the tub with lid and keep moist - remove the lid once seedlings start to appear
- Water once a day with spray trigger bottle. If soil in tub becomes dry add 200ml to 300ml of cold water near base of plant

We highly recommend purchasing a dedicated water sprayer to use solely for watering your Cat Grass. Using a Spray trigger bottle inhibits the growth of mould. You should never use a watering can or jug to water cat grass as this will only encourage mould growth.This 500ml trigger sprayer is ideal for use with water. The 500ml litre spray trigger bottle ensures you only have to refill your water bottle every few days. The 0.5 litre capacity should be enough to water four pots of Ready Grown Cat Grass, one Seed Pouch or two Grow Your Own kits for 3 to 4 days. Using your Spray Trigger Bottle 0.5Litre:- Fine mist setting. Ideal for watering the leaves of your cat grass to aid your cats hydration. As your cat munches on their cat grass they will unavoidably ingest the water on the leaves aiding their hydration.

The My Cat Grass Seed Station is designed for growing Cat Grass hydroponically - without soil. It is perfect for cat owners who wish to do their bit for the environment. Growing Hydroponically simply means growing seed through a mesh(provided in the kit) into water. The roots sprout in the tray and grow through a mesh (plastic tray) into a water reservoir in the base. Simply replace the water every few days to keep it fresh and the water supply oxygenated.
